From time immemorial it has been known that some people, Yogis, Gurus, Shamen, Priests, Saints, Paramahamsas, Buddhas, Christs, have evolved to a state of high energy.
These pure and good people, wanting benefit and happiness for all, without a trace of selfishness and competition have been known to have psychic powers.
Their search for energy and goodness has precipitated within them the next stage of human evolution.
For thousands of years they have been Good Doctors, Good Priests, founders of religion, Philosophic Geniuses, Advisors of Kings, Musical Geniuses, Poets, Makers of the Law.
For thousands of years these people, wielding amazing Siddhis or Psychic powers, have been recorded as healing of the sick, casting out mental sickness, coming in dreams, communicating through telepathy, the radiation of specialised energies, leaving the body, entering into the body of another, astral travel, telling the future, acting at a distance, raising Kundalini, Shaktipat, the ability to pass healing into amulets, temples, places of peace, pilgrimage sites, creating miracles, birds and beasts come to them in peace.
Doing all this they also pass on their energy in Shaktipat for the awakening of all good students.
The shaktipat, the radiation of psychic energies by the enlightened can awaken these abilities in all who come to them. This has been known and recorded in the Sacred literature for thousands of years.
Indeed, some sacred literature states that only by access to the energies of the Masters, can enlightenment be passed on.
The search for this next step in evolution comes from the enhancement, the increase, of energy.
As fire is spread from candle to candle. As the sacred word resonates in both he who gives and he who receives. As Grace dropeth as the gentle dew from Heaven, twice blessed..
So a preparation of he who receives, the student, the candle, by the removal of Negative Energy, Energy Blockages, a lack of Energy Blockages allows more Spiritual Energy to be absorbed and used to crystalise, complete, finalise, create the Spiritual Body of another Master, another transmitter of the Truth!
They say that Masters represents infinite power through a complete loss of the selfish ego - When the robe was touched no credit was claimed by the wearer, It was your faith which healed you! said the Master - and so the truism, It takes two to Tango, - the student must be purified and prepared by evolution and spiritual practice to accept the Force, the Energy transmitted by the Master.
All energy blockages stopping the flow of energy through the system and preventing the buildup of psychic power in the system must be removed.
Thus we learn and practice Yoga, Pranayama, Meditation, Samadhi, Samyama, the Kundalini Kriyas, Chinese Alchemical Taoism and the Micro and Macrocosmic Orbits, VITRIOL and The Emerald Tablet of Hermes Trismegistus, The Grounding of Negative Energies, The Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, Raja Yoga and the Eighteen Classical Yogas of the Bhagavad Gita.
Thus the torch is passed on from Master to Student.
Another candle is lighted up!
And Masters have existed in every time period.
They exist Now!!

Do you often find yourself feeling drained or lacking in energy? Is there someone that you just can't seem to get over or stop thinking about no matter how much you try to let them go? Or how about those folks at work who just seem to drain the life out of you?
Did you know that you have invisible cords of energy going from you to other people and from them to you? Unless you use meditation to sever them, you have energy cords attached to you that you do not need. You cannot get rid of something if you are not even aware that it exists.
The cords can be from a number of different sources - from all kinds of past relationships; family, lovers, friends, co-workers.
Often these cords keep us 'attached' to unhealthy emotions and energy from our past, to people we thought we had let go, or they follow us home from the daily grind. Until we consciously let them go, we are unable to free ourselves and move forward to our full potential.
If you would like to release these energy cords, then practicing the following meditation will help you. You can either read it and get an idea how it works and then do it on your own, or you can tape record the following and play it back to walk yourself through the meditation. You can try doing this exercise as you lie in bed and drift off to sleep at night.
Breathe very deeply. After a few breaths, imagine that you are breathing out any negativity, breathe out anything that is old and does not serve you any more. As you breathe in, imagine that you are breathing in fresh, new and clean enlightening energy, into your body.
Then work on feeling each part of your body, from your toes to your head. Imagine each part of your body working as it is meant to and being healthy and sound. Become very aware of your body and yourself, relaxing......
Now imagine all the cords of energy going from you to others and back again. Surround yourself with the universal white light, know that you are protected. Now, it is time for you to cut the cords that you no longer need. When cutting the cords, you can imagine cutting them with scissors or a knife. Alternatively, you can ask for help from the Archangel Michael. Imagine him cutting the cords with his mighty sword. Imagine all those, unnecessary cords surrounding your body, your legs, your back, your arms, being severed. If you ask for help, be sure to give him thanks for the assistance you receive.
While cutting the cords, cut them with love. Anger will not help you here. Realize that each and every one of us is just a soul on this earth, here to live and learn and do the best we can. The people that we need to let go of are here for their own reasons, and we are here for ours. In this exercise, we are simply just letting go of their energies, we are not judging them.
You may need to do this meditation every night for two weeks, two months or even longer......the point is to release any and all energies that you do not need. Release with love.
Often when we release someone's energy they actually feel it. They may not know what it is they are feeling, they just feel a lack of something (your energy). Sometimes they will even call you or send an e-mail to see how you are doing. This is fine, just don't get drawn back into the negative exchange of energy. Do not try to use this meditation in the hopes that someone will call you, it doesn't work that way. All that will do is keep their energy attached to you. If you try to use the meditation in that way then you are not truly letting go of the energy.
Remember, let go - with love.

This meditation is useful for a variety of reasons. If you are feeling off-centre or ungrounded, flighty or ‘spun-out’, ie. feeling overworked, unable to focus on a task, unable to complete tasks, constantly thinking of other things you could/should be doing while doing something else, this method of meditation will definitely be useful to you.
For those of you who are familiar with the “Cutting Cords” meditation, you will understand that this meditation will enhance that one. Not only are you centering and grounding yourself, you are adding a protection to keep those energy cords from coming back.
It is especially important when you are working on growing your own psychic gifts or just working to enhance your intuition, or ‘gut feelings’. When you meditate you put yourself into an altered state and are much more receptive. You need to trust what information you get in your meditations. If you practice meditation regularly, you will find that even when you are not meditating, you are still able to ‘tune in’ to this deeper you.
To begin this meditation, you first need to be comfortable. Start this meditation by sitting in a comfortable chair with your feet flat on the floor. Breathe very deeply. As you inhale, see yourself breathing in fresh, new, life-giving oxygen. Imagine the white light and life-force entering your body and giving you life, sustaining your life...
As you exhale, see yourself breathing out any negative or old energy or feelings. Imagine this to be black smoke leaving your nostrils.
Breathe like this for a few minutes, all the while becoming very aware of your body. Imagine each part of your body. Start with your feet, become aware of your legs, torso, upper body, arms and head. If you feel blocks in any of these areas, release them in the black smoke.
Once all is clear, then imagine that you have roots coming out of your feet. Have the roots go very deep into Mother Earth and wrap around a rock or something deep in the earth. Ask Mother Earth if you may ground to her and use her energy to protect yourself. Remember to thank her.
Now imagine a yellow/amber light coming up your 'roots'. Have the light come all the way up your roots and into your body, first your feet, up your legs, through your torso, up to your neck down your arms and into your head. Feel the loving energy of this light all through you. Have it be a part of you. This light and energy helps to ground you, much like a tree has roots.
After you have brought in all that loving energy and light and you are grounded, it is time to protect yourself. First, you will need to pull in all of your scattered energies - anywhere that you have left your energy, just gently take it back into yourself. You will also need to lovingly cut the cords to anyone that may be taking energy from you. This way you ensure that when you put protection around yourself you have all of your energy inside and no one else's.
Once your energy is clear, you can put a protection around you. This ‘protection’ is simply to make sure that you are not throwing your energy away, nor are others able to zap your energy from you.
There are several ways to do this. Do what feels most comfortable for you. You can put something like a beaker or a jar around you. Or, one of the methods I use when I'm not needing to do it quickly, is you can bring the light out from your body by about 6 inches. See the light resonating out from your body. You can then put chain mail (like on a knight’s armour), all around the light at the 6 inch point. Use whatever protection that you feel is the best for you. Remember to protect your whole body - do your back, bum, and back of your head etc.
You need to do a protection meditation like this when you are working on your energies. When you go into a meditation and are in an altered state, you want to make sure that you are protected, and that nothing but positive things come through for you, and also that you don't end up walking around with other people's energy attached to you. If you are going to allow for help from the other side for yourself, then state that anyone who comes through to help must come from God, or they are not welcome.
Meditations can be a great source of energy. Whether you have the time to do a prolonged 30 minute meditation two times a day, or just a brief meditation when you find the time, you will find that doing any type of meditation will help to the degree that you practice it.

Meditation, quite rightly, has an image of relaxation, peace and quiet, and many may interpret this as meaning meditation can only be for those who have time to laze around half the day. For this reason, those people, such as business executives, who live a pressured life with little or no time to spare, may assume that meditation can never have a place in their lives. That is a shame, as meditation techniques can be quite flexible and quite easy to fit in to a busy day.
The benefits of meditation can be so great to somebody under pressure, that even a few minutes occasionally may bring a noticeable benefit. For a busy executive to have reached their position in life, they are likely to be determined and intelligent individuals. This can often mean that, should they perceive a benefit in an activity, then they will continue or extend that activity. It is therefore possible that an executive trying out even a brief period of meditation may soon adopt some meditation technique or other on a regular basis.
What type of meditation techniques may fit in with an executive lifestyle? Important features of meditation are being able to breathe well and consciously, relax and clear the mind, and then focus the mind. An executive with perpetual meetings and a full diary, with pressures to perform and maximise profits, may think such things cannot be fitted into their busy lives.
It is true to say that the most powerful and beneficial meditation sessions are prolonged. However, that does not mean short periods of meditation are a waste of time; far from it. An executive is probably geared up to packing as much into their day as possible and, although it may be difficult to clear a hyperactive mind, they may well learn to pack in short meditation sessions also. In so doing, they may well find that those sessions give them a boost that is far greater and more beneficial than caffeine.
So, what techniques can an executive use during their busy day? Here are a few ideas:
1. If using public transport to get to and from work, and you are able to sit down, it can be a good time to close your eyes, concentrate on correct breathing, and try to shut out the surrounding sounds. Commuting can be a very stressful experience every day of the week, so a snatched meditation session, even in far from ideal conditions, may minimize those negative effects, or even turn them on their head. In fact, it can be good practice to try to meditate in difficult conditions, as that makes ideal conditions even more beneficial later on.
The secret to these train or bus sessions is not to fall asleep, and to concentrate extra hard on maintaining the focus.
2. Do you go to a gym or health spa? Whether at lunch time or in the evening, this can be a good time to tag on a short meditation session. If you have finished your work out, you need some time to shower and relax your body a bit. Following that with a 10 minute or more period of meditation could work wonders. Most gyms or health spas will have a room you can use for a short spell of peace, so it is worth asking. A vacant massage room would serve the purpose.
3. Control your diary, and schedule in a mid morning and mid afternoon "tea or coffee" break. Only instead of tea and coffee, drink water, sit comfortably, focus on your breathing and then when totally relaxed, have a short session of meditation, focusing on something calming and not related to work. Even 10 minutes can provide a power inducing respite from the day's work, and the chances are you will not lose time, but rather gain time, as you will work more effectively.
Snatched meditation sessions spread through the day may not be the stuff of traditional meditation, but they are certainly better than none at all. Hopefully, the rejuvenated executive will perceive enough benefits to set aside time in the evenings and weekends to learn full meditation, and then be able to return to work at the top of is game every weekday morning.

You may eat right, take your vitamins and do water aerobics to keep in shape. But one thing you probably just can’t seem to do is meditate. Despite the obvious benefits that meditation offers for health and managing stress easily, most of us have trouble settling into the serene quiet that meditation offers.
The benefits of meditation are indeed numerous, ranging from the physical to the spiritual. On the physical side, it can reduce the stimulus that overloads our bodies with stress hormones and elevated blood pressure. On the spiritual side it can provide a place of quiet exploration, said to be basic for the spiritual quest.
Though meditation has grown significantly in numbers over the last several decades, it is still successfully practiced by a very small percentage of the population. Many of us know how it can benefit us. Yet if you are like most, sitting still feels like being put in irons and told to sit in the corner. Let’s face it, there is a reason it’s so hard to take that leap to quiet contemplation.
The answer may come in the biology of the brain. An increasing amount of research says we form our brains around our experiences. In other words, whether we like it or not, we become biologically tuned, possibly even addicted, to the lives we lead. As our lives become faster and faster it becomes harder to make the jump back to something as slow or as or beneficial as sitting quietly.
For high speed westerners meditation has other challenges. First it was created in both foreign and ancient cultures. We don’t have a modern western language for meditation and have to borrow the sights, sounds and rhythms of India and the Far East where the traditions were strongest. Put simply, when we are already trying something new it’s hard to relate to exotic languages, chanting and sounds.
Second is a complete blurring of the dividing line between the world of commerce and the world of hearth and home. In his pivotal book, ‘The Pattern Language’, architect Christopher Alexander, calls for the fundamental, almost primal need for a transition from “street life,” to the quiet security of a home.
Home was once a place where we could cast off the pace of the outside world and feel quite safe and secure. If you envision yourself proceeding to your front door through a small Japanese garden, or through the thick, cool walls of a Mediterranean courtyard and you may get a sense of how wonderful this can feel.
Inside the traditional home, people could act out different roles that centered on relaxation and simple pleasures like eating. Meditation doesn’t seem so far from the pace of this world. On the other hand, in the modern house, the world of commerce holds equal ground inside in the form of TV, radio, internet and cell phones. You never slow down, you never experience retreat and this gives stress no outlet.
There are a few things you can do to calm your household, even with modern and ancient technology. First, consider going on a quest for music that separates you from the day to day world. Experiment with classical music from the 16th and 17th centuries known as baroque. A lot of baroque music has a tempo close to one beat per second, the pace of the human heart. This has been shown to be beneficial to mood, focus and a sense of relaxation.
Other sounds, particularly those from nature, seem to be incredibly calming. After all, humans listened intently to the sounds of nature for signals of safety or threat.
Water fountains can provide a safe, soothing sound that bespeaks safety. Wind chimes have also been used for thousands of years enliven and change the sense of time in homes and temples.
Modern recordings of the sounds of surf, rivers and birds are also very effective calming devices. These are all accessible to anyone with a CD player or IPod. Electronics extends the range of calming sources of sound and can change our entire perception of our environment. We provide an example of how this works on our web site.
A powerful but less known sound that can change our state of mind is drumming. This is not your 15 year old on a new drum set, but the soul-satisfying, rhythmic drumming of ancient, native instruments. These sounds were refined and improved over millennia. Is it any wonder it is hard to keep still when we hear a great African beat or Tahitian drum? In fact, Ayruvedic medicine teaches that certain drum tones break up stagnate energy thereby preventing disease.
Whatever audio selections you choose, play these recordings at low volume most of the time. Music and drumming is actually very stimulating to the nervous system. The lower it is played, the more likely it will be calming, centering and not ultimately fatiguing.
However, any music that calms, relaxes and creates a positive state of mind is worth trying. Specialists in the field say that non verbal, non choral music is best. Vocal music engages the active, critical and logical part of the brain, so it should be avoided as a relaxation tool.
If any of these methods help clear your mind of the day’s events, it has brought you closer to meditative calm. In fact many spiritual practices in both the east and west claim that all of life is a meditation. The essence of meditation is being aware and clear headed.
With moments of clear headedness, if you ever choose to meditate in a more traditional and quiet form, you will find it much easier to do so. The jump from the sounds of your home to actual meditation won’t be too far to take.
