Seeking A House For Sale In Metropolitian Areas
The reason I say this regards cost. Locating can dramatically alter the price of a home. In fact, you can take one 2500 square foot home located in rural Iowa for 210 grand, and the exact same home will not cost nearly the same located in South Beach, Florida. Plan on spending much more the [...]

We hear a lot these days about the pollution of the environment and how this affects food crops, and ultimately, our nutrition.
This argument about our polluted environment has been getting louder in the nutritional supplement industry. We are told that even if we eat the naturally grown foods in regular serving sizes, we cannot adequately nourish our bodies anymore from the foods grown in our polluted soils.
As I listened to a nutrition expert on a radio program recently, he said it would take about 10 servings of vegetables nowadays to provide the same amount of nutrients we could have obtained from a single serving back in the days before the industrial revolution.
I don't know about that, I cannot say how true that may be, but I might ask... How do you prove that food nutrients are insufficient when 80% of us are not eating adequate amounts of the required fruits and vegetables anyway?
Nutritional supplements from food extracts
You may have also heard the claim that food extracts that have been formulated as dietary supplements have many more benefits than the foods from which they were extracted. This must simply be a matter of ingredient concentration. But I also have to ask this...
How do we know that there isn't a negative effect of artificially inflating the concentrations of certain nutrients above the normal levels that nature has provided for us?
We also need to note that some of the nutrients in the supplements have been lost due to the processing. One notable example is with flax seed, from which flaxseed oil is made.
Flaxseed oil is rich in fatty acids, dietary fiber, protein, and physochemicals. Most people don't see flax as a source of dietary fat or protein, but they for the phytochemical content. Now, one of the phytochemicals is destroyed in the process of making flaxseed oil from the flax seeds. Ironically, it is the same ingredient that is said to have most of the cancer-inhibiting potential. But in the process of extracting the oil, we lose most of it.
Is long term use of highly concentrated nutrients safe?
Your multi-vitamin supplements may show the B12 concentration per serving as 833% of RDA. If you take Vitamin C supplements, each serving (or dosage) is several times your daily requirement. Why?
Removing any nutrient from nature's package makes it less effective than it would be in it's natural state. For example, an orange is more effective at delivering vitamin C than a concentrated vitamin C pill which lacks the many phytochemicals found in the natural orange.
What may be the long-term harm to people who, instead of eating their fruits and vegetables, rely on daily intake of multivitamin supplementations?
Only time will tell. But I don't want to be part of the answer 10 years from now. I'll continue to enjoy the stuff that comes from the ground from which I came, and to which I shall return. Nutritional supplementation may be good, but it cannot replace the intention of our Designer. Let's eat whole foods!

But, actually, Hoodia Gordonii has been used by the Sans people of southern Africa for hundreds of years as an herbal remedy for everything from fighting infections to suppressing the appetite during times when there was a lack of free access to food and water.
Studies on Hoodia conducted by the worldwide scientific community have revealed Hoodia Gordonii as an effective weight loss supplement because of its ability to suppress the appetite. Pharmaceutical companies have narrowed down the active ingredient in Hoodia that is responsible for weight loss. P57, as it is commonly known, is considered to be the key ingredient in Hoodia Gordonii that works by triggering the part of your brain that is responsible for hunger and tricking the brain into thinking that you are full.
Other reasons that make Hoodia Gordonii an effective weight loss supplement are:
1) Hoodia does not contain harmful stimulants; therefore it will not make you feel jittery and won't keep you up at night as do some weight loss supplements.
2) It is completely natural with no known side effects.
3) It decreases your appetite so you don't feel hungry while you're dieting.
4) It increases your energy level and overall feeling of well-being.
However, while Hoodia Gordonii is an excellent weight loss supplement, it’s essential to point out that liquid Hoodia is much more effective than Hoodia in pill form and twice as potent.
Hoodia Gordonii in pill form is made from plant parts which may be hard to break down and digest in some people. This could lead to a much lower absorption rate especially for those people who may already have difficulty with their digestive processes. Conversely, liquid Hoodia is more potent than pills because it is more easily absorbable by the body, giving you more effective weight loss results than Hoodia in pill form.
Additionally, since liquid Hoodia absorbs at a faster rate, the results will also be much faster. This is important for a diet supplement that is designed to suppress the appetite because the faster you can suppress your appetite when you are hungry, the better the results will be.
Another problem with purchasing Hoodia or any other supplement is that during the manufacturing process, dietary supplements in pill form are often mixed with inorganic materials to hold them together.
These materials act as a binder to the supplements to keep them from falling apart so that they maintain their desired shape. And while organic material is best, not all manufacturing companies use organic material, opting instead for cheaper inorganic material which, in the end, may cause more harm to the consumer than good.
Therefore, when thinking about which form of Hoodia to use to enhance your diet program, consider liquid Hoodia for faster absorption and better weight loss results.

Nutrition and supplementation plays a major role in the overall health process. The 20th century brought about some major medical developments in the sickness industry, which helped fight infectious disease, improved the effectiveness of antibiotics and immunizations and resulted in a doubling of the average lifespan.
However, the older you get the more medication you seem to need and the sicker you become. So where’s the benefit to living longer when your quality of life deteriorates?
The 21st century is focusing medical developments on the wellness industry - helping people live better and live longer through natural yet scientifically developed nutritional supplements.
Wellness is more than just the absence of disease – it causes ‘cellular radiance’ – that is radiating good health from the inside out because you are giving your body everything it needs so that every cell functions at its very best.
The foundation of good health is good nutrition which means making sure your body has all the macro nutrients (protein, carbohydrates, fat) and micro nutrients (vitamins, minerals, trace elements) it requires to function like a well oiled car.
Our current food supply has some major challenges. Many people live in remote areas and food loses a lot of its goodness and suffers as a result of the lengthy transportation of food to these remote areas. Fast food outlets are everywhere. People are too busy to cook so they eat away from home or choose takeaway foods that are higher in calories, animal fats, salt and sugar. And many foods that are available are so processed that they have minimal nutritional value and micro-nutrients. This is why there’s a strong focus on the importance of dietary supplements to provide what’s missing from our food.
When it comes to micro-nutrients (vitamins, minerals, trace elements) it’s important to give your body no less than exactly what it needs or it will not function properly. All those important processes your body performs daily through your liver, kidneys, digestive system, heart, stomach etc will labor under the lack of lubrication and nutrition. Just like putting cooking oil in your car’s engine, it may run okay for a while but eventually, after numerous and expensive problems with the motor, it’ll come to a grinding halt.
The Recommended Daily Intake (RDI) of any micro-nutrient (as indicated on the bottle) states the minimum amount of each nutrient your body requires in order to prevent a deficiency. Your body is a very clever machine so if you give it more than it needs it will eliminate the excess efficiently. Provided the products are natural, it is very difficult to overload it.
In order to obtain even minimal nutrition from your food, it is recommended that you eat 5 – 7 servings of fruit or vegetables daily. A near impossible feat for busy people. In fact, with the way food is today, it’s a fact that you need to consume around 4,000 calories of food per day in order to get all the nutrition your body needs. That is around 3 times more than an average man or woman needs in order to maintain a healthy weight so not only is it expensive, you will get fat in the process.
People often say ‘But I should be able to get all the nutrition I need from my food’ and they’re right, they should. But they can’t and they don’t.
In addition to the lack of micro-nutrients in our food through over-processing, food also lacks fiber and nutrition but is higher in calories so people feel less full from their food choices, they eat more, suffer cravings and so begin the ongoing cycle of over-eating whilst becoming malnourished. A strange concept isn’t it?
There is a lot of conflicting information out there but a key thing to remember in your own quest for wellness is to do what you enjoy and what feels right.
Your body is repairing itself every single hour at the cellular level so if you decide to begin taking supplements, make sure they work at the cellular level - that they repair the cellular membrane which is effectively like re-building yourself from the inside out.
The sooner you give your body what it needs through supplementation the better you will feel and the sooner you will reach a point of wellness in your life. When you’re well and you know what your body is capable of, you can do anything and the path to wellness you once ambled along, becomes one down which you run, kicking your heels up as you go!

“Let food be thy medicine, and let thy medicine be food”, Hippocrates.
No phrase could be truer, as any honest doctor will tell you. Here we will examine glyconutrients, and how they can help supplement your diet program, improve health and prevent disease.
Glyconutrients are large sugar polymers containing “monosaccharides”
A monosaccharide is a carbohydrate consisting of one simple sugar. These monosaccharides are important elements used by the body to create glycoproteins.
What are they?
In turn, glycoproteins are the molecules that act as a cellular code for cell to cell communication. In fact, the majority of proteins in our bodies are glycoproteins.
Today there is an entire branch of medicine now called Gycoscience, based on glyconutients, and more there is an associated new (re-discovered) discipline in medicine called Orthomoleculogy.
Orthomolecular medicine describes the practice of preventing and treating disease by providing the body with optimal amounts of substances which are natural to the body.
The principle idea here is that genetic factors affect not only to the physical characteristics of individuals, but also to their biochemical potentials.
It is believed that biochemical pathways of the body have significant genetic variability and diseases such as atherosclerosis, cancer, schizophrenia or depression are associated with specific biochemical abnormalities which are causal or contributing factors of the illness describes.
From the above, the whole industry and habit of taking food supplements have arisen, and now it is commonplace to find food supplements in almost every pharmacy and supermarket. The supplements themselves are almost always glyconutrients, and usually glycoproteins.
How they work and what they can do for you
Let’s see how they work, and what they can do for you. Since the topic is much to large to cover in any single article we will use the B-vitamin supplements as an example.
The B-vitamins are working best when taken in a group, but even given singly have good and well documented results. B-6 taken alone helps all the symptoms of PMS (pre-menstrual syndrome), an essential (now widely accepted practice) addition to any woman taking oral contraceptives, as it is a possible stroke preventative (women taking oral contraceptives are 3 times as likely to suffer stroke than women who do not).
B-3 (Niacin) also has been used for a very long time by psychiatrists as it is an effective alternative treatment for severe depression, psychotic behavior, and schizophrenia.
Additionally Niacin has finally gained popularity as one of the cheapest ways to lower serum cholesterol. It must be mentioned again, as above, that the B-vitamins work well when taken together, and somehow even better with other glyconutrients such as Vitamin C.
There is a very good effect on organs such as the liver, which means if you drink alcohol to any extent, you need to be taking these supplements.
Assuming Orthomolecular medicine will be gaining credence in the near future, we may discover how to treat and even prevent all our illnesses with diet and natural cures.
The problem is perhaps the huge pharmaceutical industry that makes hundreds of billions of dollars early by providing expensive drugs and may or may not work. Also a doctor would have a real problem with collecting high fees by prescribing eating an apple a day.
The key then will lay in the real education of the general public.
An article such as this should also contain a detailed explanation of how the glyconutrients work, and what they do. In the future, we hope that all interested people will demand such an instruction and explanation. Today’s basic biology classes are going into more detail than ever before and this too is a good sign.

If you or somebody you care about is struggling with fatigue, autoimmune disorders, or a life threatening illness, glyconutrients can help. These all natural plant based 'raw materials' help support your body's ability to produce special structures called glycoproteins. Glycoproteins directly affect the ability of your cells to communicate with each other so they are functioning correctly. Everybody responds and fights disease the best when your cells are communicating effectively.
Most bodies' do not metabolize food and nutrients correctly b/c their body is "out of balance". The glyco proteins in Glyconutrients, provide your body the raw materials it needs to encourage your body to 'self-correct' any imbalances.
"Your body is an amazing health machine that can heal itself of disease if you give it the proper nutrition."
Glyconutrients should be taken in conjunction with a GOOD multi-vitamin. They are not a replacement for a healthy diet and multi-vitamin supplementation. The addition of Glycontrients to your diet will enhance the efficacy of your wellness regime (proper nutrition and vitamin supplementation).
What do Doctors Say about Glyconutrients?
"The biggest revolutionary change in the war against disease is represented by glyconutrients. Glyconutrients are taking their place as one of the pivotal classes of nutrients. I know this not only because of the medical studies but also by the profound effects it has had toward promoting health in my patients that had been lacking over the past 20 years". --- Michael D. Schlachter, M.D., Board Certified Internal Medicine and Pulmonary Disease Clinical Instructor, University of Nevada Medical School.
Harper's Biochemistry, a textbook used by many of the top medical schools in the U.S., was rewritten in 1996 to add an entire chapter listing the 8 necessary glyconutrients... mannose, galactose, glucose (the only glyconutrient still plentiful in our modern diets), fucose, xylose, n-acetylglucosamine, n-acetylgalactosamine, and n-acetylneuraminic acid. The co-author of Harper's, Dr. Robert Murray, was so impressed with the company we listed for you to obtain your glyconutrients that he now is on their Board of Medical Directors.
Glyconutrients are the next generation of wellness supplementation. We have just started to understand the many benefits of them. The research reported in the last two decades has fueled a new approach towards wellness and ignited a new sense of hope with many of the world's leading immunologists, researchers, and doctors.
David Filer has a passion for overall nutrition and wellness. His goal is to education people on what is fact vs. what is fiction. Only through true education and research, can consumers makes an educated decision about what nutritional products to consume.
